Beth Brown-Reinsel will be visiting us, for the 4th summer in a row, on July 19 and 20. We’ll spend 9 hours learning a mitten in the traditional way of the Saami, the northernmost indigenous people of Europe. This leisurely pace will allow most people time to finish one mitten and make progress on the second mitten. 3 more class hours will be devoted to learning the Norwegian Purl and its best uses. Beth travels widely teaching traditional European knitting techniques. She is known for her gentle but thorough teaching style. This is a great opportunity to work in a small class setting with one of the greats in the knitting world. We still have space for a few more students. Check our classes page for details.
