It is with a grateful heart that I am happy to announce that we will be reopening the shop starting Tuesday, Sept. 8th!

The 7-day average number of positive COVID cases in Porter County has been down since late July/early August, which is when we peaked. Instead of 25-30 new cases daily, we are seeing approx 13-16 new cases daily. The mask mandate is helping, so PLEASE continue to wear your mask and social distance.

We will be open Tuesday through Friday from 12n-5p, and Sat. from 10a-3p. A mask and social distancing is required. There will not be any classes or one-on-one help at this time. If you have a problem with a project, you can drop it off with us. We will fix it and call you when it is ready for pick-up. Please allow up to a week+ for repairs.

Shopping will be limited to 6 customers at a time. If we have 6 customers already in the shop, we will put a sign on the door and you are welcome to wait outside until someone exits, and then you can come in. Our kitchen area and bathroom will be closed to the public temporarily. We kindly ask that if you have a fever, feel sick, have a cough, or have knowingly been exposed to someone with COVID that you please do not come to the shop.

Phone orders and curbside pick-up will continue for those of you that prefer it. Please be patient with us as we currently have 3 people working (for those who did not know, Kate is on a hiatus right now).
We are very excited to see all of your smiling “eyes” at the shop again!!
